Saperavi

This was my very first wine ever made.  So, no wonder it is special.  It was made from bio-dynamically produced Saperavi and Ikalto's Tsitela grapes from cool Ikalto region.  Full bodied, deep inky purple, earthy with supple acidity to hold the structure, with long finish and rounded tanins, it turned out to be an exceptional wine.  It was aged in stainless steel tank for about three years and only then bottled in two small batches without any sulfur ever used except for rinsing the bottles.
