1. Alarming worsening in Days-to-Double in both the USA (down to ~4 days from the latest three-day running average of ~5+ days) and the World (down to ~7.5 days vs. the latest three-day running average of ~9 days). Perhaps this can be explained by some misreporting over the weekend and also apex in daily deaths approaching in NY State, France and the UK.
2. NY State still seems to be on track to hit the peak in daily deaths sometime between April 7th and 9th. After this, the clearly over-stressed medical system in NYS should start to feel marked reduction in pressure. NJ is probably a few days behind.
3. Days-to-double for confirmed cases (i.e. positively tested) is flat for the USA (now at ~8 days) but got somewhat worse for the World (now at ~11 days, down from ~12 for the couple of days prior).This is your blog post.
