April 17 - Robust Improvements in the USA and in the World

1. Both the USA and the World remain robust. Days-to-Double (DD) for deaths for the USA remains at ~10 days and for the World a down-tick is seen to ~12 days. DD for positives for the USA flat at ~15 and for the World a large positive up-tick to ~23 days (most likely a daily fluctuation). 2. Strong improvements continue in all of daily hospitalizations data from NYS. Percentage of positives in NYS ticked slightly lower and was at 32%. All of these plus the trend in daily deaths re-affirm the previously established peak in daily deaths in NYS April 7 - 10. Looking forward to NYS daily deaths taking a nose-dive soon!
