1. Unless this is a some kind of a weekend (Easter) effect with data reporting, huge improvements are seen in Days-to-Double (DD) for both the USA and the World:

  • DD for deaths is now ~10 days for the USA and ~14 days for the World.

  • DD for confirmed cases is now ~14 days for the USA and ~17 days for the World.

2. Saturday's data re-affirmed that the peak in the NYS daily deaths did indeed occur anywhere between April 7th - 10th. Both the USA and NJ seam to also have gone through their peaks in daily deaths a couple of days or so ago.

3. Marked improvements continue in all of daily hospitalizations data from NYS.

4. Percentage of positives in NYS is still hovering at alarmingly high level above 40%. This is rather high and unexplained (for comparison, the entire USA it is at under ~20%!).
