1. The peak in daily deaths in the state of NY seems to have confirmed on April 8th. Next couple of days should confirm this assertion short of some unpleasant surprises. NJ seam to be only a few days behind as well as the entire USA.

2. One specific concern regarding the peak and the dynamic of the spread in NYS is a rather high percentage of positives - little above 40% of all tested are positive. This is rather high and unexplained. For the entire USA, is stands only at ~20%!

3. Marked improvements in the state of NY daily hospitalizations, ICU admittance, and intubations continues. Today was the first time daily ICU change was negative (-17)!

4. Steady improvements continue in Days-to-Double (DD) for both the USA and the World with daily fluctuations due to reporting time-stamping.

DD for deaths is now ~6 days for the USA and ~10 days for the World.

DD for confirmed cases is now ~10 days for the USA and ~12 days for the World.
